My name is Nigel Barnim, I’m a Masters of Science in Psychotherapy student at McMaster University. I am a 2025/2026 practicum student at Niagara Neuropsychology and Friesen Performance under the supervision of Dr. Friesen.
Though my Masters program has equipped me with skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I also integrate the perspectives from 10 years of meditation practice.

I’m passionate about optimizing the psychology and physiology of elite performance and I bring this passion and skillset to my work with clients. With me you can expect an evidence-based, strengths-based, trauma-informed lens to help you overcome the difficulties you’re facing internally, both in mind and brain.
